Tan In A Bottle With Sunless Tanning

Here comes summer once again. You’ve had the taste of spring time and now you’re hooked on the sunshine. You’d better break out the shades. Or better yet, you’d better dig out the suntan oil. It’s about time to get your tan on. You know, lay out by the pool or in the back yard, basically bake until you’re a golden brown. Wait, that can’t be healthy can it? Well DUH! Everyone on planet earth should know this by now. Tanning the epidermis under the UV rays is not such a prudent route. It really never was. The only difference is that now we know better. We’re aware of what the sun can do to our appearance and overall health. It’s kind of like smoking. Everybody used to do it, but then there was a wake up call via scientific studies. What I’m getting at is that you should take the alternative route if you want a golden complexion. This is the age of sunless tanning.

I call it a tan in a bottle. You’ve seen it before. My guess is on countless occasions. There is a deluge of sunless tanning products available to assist you in darkening your skin. Try Walgreens or CVS pharmacy. Both carry a vast array of sunless tanners. All you have to do is exfoliate properly in the shower, and then get out and apply the product evenly. They make these lotions and creams so subtle now days so that you don’t end up with funky streaks or orange spots. You can apply them nightly and end up with an awesome tan. And the best part is there are no drawbacks like premature wrinkles, sun spots and skin cancer.

At least give the new age method of sunless tanning a shot. If you don’t find what you’re searching for in a drug or grocery store, you can always try the tanning salon. Not for the tanning beds! But rather for the mist on tan. You step in a booth and get sprayed from head to toe. This is a new form of sunless tanner. It is also safe and very quick. Tons of sun bunnies are giving this new concept a shot. So if you’re itching for a nice even, full body tan, what you need is a good air brushing at the local tanning salon. Call to see who offers this service. You’ll have the glow in no time and be ready for that bikini.

Razor Burn Is Only The Beginning

Every morning men across the globe face the blade. Not the vampire guy! I was thinking more along the lines of a Mach 3 or Schick Tracer. These are a couple contemporary tools of the trade. Many of us prefer their closeness over that of an electric model. I have to say that I’m one of them. I did the electric thing for a couple years in the beginning, but definitely prefer the blade now. It shaves closer and cleaner if you ask me.

Certainly there are plenty of these to choose from. As long as you don’t go with the disposables, you’re probably fine. Now, what do you find troubling or irksome about this daily ritual? Wait, let me take a wild guess. You get nicks, cuts, razor bumps, ingrown hairs and razor burn? I think that pretty much covered it all. Yep, those are the typical pangs of shaving.

No man has to accept the foul and painful aftermath of shaving with a blade. Not anymore at least. There are too many great products on the market and I’m going to let you in on some. I don’t care if you’re grappling with razor bumps or razor burn, there is something out there for you. First, let’s address razor bumps and ingrown hairs. These are the worst in my book. If you get them regularly, you should really do something to prevent them. Tend Skin is a great product for dealing with these unsightly burdens. A few other companies like Anthony Logistics and Baxter of California also offer treatments for this dilemma. Give one a shot and see what you think.

Then there is razor burn. This is fairly easy to deal with. You want to make sure you have a sharp razor and a good shaving cream, gel or foam. Don’t buy the Colgate garbage and don’t use a blade more than five times. They get dull. If you can afford it, I would only use them three times each. These will make a great difference in your shave. Try it in the shower and the whiskers will be much softer. This will prevent razor burn. And lastly, it comes down to your aftershave. Avoid alcohol! This does nothing to aid razor burn issues. It only makes things worse. Try an aftershave that’s rich in moisturizers. A couple I strongly suggest are Baxter of California’s aftershave balm and Kid Glove’s aftershave gel. These are ideal for banishing any signs of razor burn. Use them only once, and you’ll never go back to the drugstore stuff.
